The beginnings
The workshop À La Botte Chantilly
« À La Botte Chantilly » started as a small workshop of custom-made cavalry boots (called ‘Chantilly’ boots, from the town of the same name) for officers stationed in Lille (Northern France).
1920
Department store
The small workshop becomes a large department store that doubles its surface area and spreads across both street addresses: 22-24 rue de la Grande Chaussée, Lille.
1930
Ready-to-wear
À La Botte Chantilly changes its name to become La Botte Chantilly and evolves from custom-made shoes to ready-to-wear premium-quality shoes.
1950
Prestige brands
La Botte Chantilly becomes an iconic place of elegance and style, where one can easily find the very best high-quality shoe brands in Lille.
